My past

I am being dumped by my fiancé. We got engaged just before Thanksgiving and planned to get married in June. During the Christmas break he went to a party where he ran into a guy that I used to date. They talked about me and my fiancé found out a lot about my past that I did think he needed to know about. He has called off our engagement and asked for his ring back (that I have not yet returned). After all he bought it for me and gave it to me. Anyway because I have a past that occurred before we ever met —know he is pissed and wants to break up. He won’t talk to me about anything.

Well let me put it this way. I was a party girl in college and I did my fair share of drugs and guys. I was never arrested or hospitalized and I haven’t done anything more than a few gummies in four years. I still have a drink but no more drugs. In the last four years I have only been with 6 guys including my fiancé. He is pissed to find out that I was a big party girl and had sex with a bunch of guys in college. My advice is to return the ring and tell him to never contact you again. Move on he is clearly not the right person for you. Start fresh and make sure you be yourself. Not someone else’s version of you. Your past is in part what makes you the person you are. Best of luck

One little thing to pass along. If your guy really truly loves you he should be able to understand everyone has a past. At your age there aren’t any virgins running around.
