Friday Night Date

I am going to have drinks after work tonight with a guy that I have not spoken to or seen for a long time. He called me out of the blue on Wednesday and asked me to have a drink with him and catch up on what has been going on in our lives since we last talked. The last time we spoke was to say goodbye when he left town to follow his dream of working on a cruise ship. I have been married/ divorced and had a kid since we last saw each other. At one time we were a couple and while we didn’t live together we were as close as two single people can be without committing. Then he got this job offer and it all came to an end in a few days. Now BLAM!!! And he is back with all the past fun and hurt lurking in the background. He never came back and only occasionally emailed me. I honestly don’t know if I want a relationship or even a one nighter with him again. I thought he was Mr Right and then he was gone and now after all this time he is back. I am scared to death, excited as can be and fearful all at the same time. Anybody have anything like this happen to them?
